Sydney Underground Film Festival Opening Night Launch Party ...
The Factory Theatre, Marrickville
The Sydney Underground Film Festival was a great success this year - bigger and better than ever and certainly launched itself with a bang by showing the crowd-pleasing Oliver Stone flick South of the Border - a brilliantly subversive flick which gave instant context to what the word "underground" is all about.

Following the screening the night became a huge party and being from the foodie / cafe lifestyle aspect of the filmgoing public, we mightily enjoyed the canapes by Pie Face and the wines by Rosnay Organic Vineyard.

Here's a selection of pics of the arty creatives who were universally upbeat all night long as they enjoyed the world of filmmaking - being around peers who make film to challenge conventions whether political or artistic.
