is pure Oz. Breakfast has many indulgences, like Buttermilk Pancake
with Mixed Berry Compote and Mascarpone, or the Ham or Smoked Salmon,
Spinach, Poached Eggs and Hollandaise on Damper. It gets lively around
brunch and into lunch as the visitors wake up and then perk up on their
coffee. There's a frivoloty to the service, a bit of actors' panache
which seems part of the package, almost as though the front verandah
is one of life's accidental stages upon which to perform. Freshly squeezed
juices? Their titles fill you with guilt: "Hangover", "Fatigue", "Liver
Cleanse" and even "Blood Purification". Ordering the last one is like

twenty bucks. Seared Roo Rump with Braised Red Cabbage and Celeriac
Puree is the pick.
